On Thursday, the OnePlus Nord Buds were released in India. Better audio capabilities were announced along with the OnePlus 10R 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G smartphones. The latest addition to the brand’s earbuds lineup has 12.4mm titanium drivers and a robust design.
Active noise reduction is included in the OnePlus Nord Buds (ANC). The earphones include Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and are sweat and water-resistant to IP55 standards. OnePlus claims that its new TWS earphones, when combined with the charging dock, can provide up to 30 hours of playtime
2 OnePlus Nord Buds Specifications
Specifications of newly releasing OnePlus Nord Buds earbuds have an IP55-rated ergonomic body. It allows the buds to be water and dust-resistant and makes them lightweight.
Other specifications include 12.4 mm Titanium drivers with a response frequency ranging between 20Hz-20,000Hz. Another driver has a sensitivity of 102dB for good sound quality and better bass.
New Nord Buds from OnePlus have Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity with a maximum range of 10 meters distance. The latency rate of these earbuds is up to 94 ms (milliseconds) with OnePlus Smartphones when gaming pro mode is enabled.
With the microphone feature, OnePlus Nord Buds can be used with both iOS and Android devices. Just like the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 model, Nord Buds claims to use the technology of fast pairing from OnePlus.
This technology helps the earbuds to connect with the OnePlus phone immediately after the charging case opens. The playback hours of these earbuds are 7 hours on one single charge. The Nord Bud comes with an oval-shaped charging case.
And to our surprise, this combination is said to deliver playtime of up to 30 hours. Moreover, these buds claim to work 5 hours at the charge of 10-minutes. Additionally, there are 41mAh battery inside each earbud and a 480 mAh battery inside the charging box. It’s easy to charge the case with bundled Type-C type cable.
3 Technical Specifications of OnePlus Nord Buds
The OnePlus Nord Buds has the dimensions of 67.9 x 35.5 x 28.68mm including the protective case. It weighs around 4.8 grams (only earbuds) and together the product weighs 41.7 grams.
